How to Deter Slugs
Place any of the following around the areas where there is visible slug damage.
- Fennel, fresh cut into 2-3 inch pieces
- Ginger, powdered
- Hair (human, horse, dog…)
- Limestone, crushed
- Oak leaved, shredded
- Seaweed
- Wood ashes
- Sink empty cat food or tuna cans into the ground and fill them with beer, wait for slugs to fall in.
