These are the chunkiest lithops we’ve ever seen! This variety specifically is lithops fulviceps, native to Namibia. Their common name is “living stones” because in the wild their bodies are normally completely underground so that the only visible part is a protruding stone with a windowed (the near-transparent patterns) surface for maximum sunlight intake. While they’re used to the desert, these plants love a bright and dry location. Thank you so much for the overwhelming amount of support! We’re so happy to be able to get these plants to you & to see to many gardeners ready to begin. Curbside has been an even bigger hit than we’d anticipated & we really appreciate your patience while we sort out any kinks! We will be open for walk-in traffic this weekend! After Friday, May 1st we will be have normal hours Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm. At times we may need to limit the number of people in the store, and face masks are strongly encouraged.
