Fenestraria rhopalophylla

This plant is commonly called ‘Baby toes’. The tips of fenestraria rhopalophylla leaves are transparent and diffuse light throughout the rest of the leaf. They are thick, shallow, spreading roots. The leaves are shaped like fingers or more aptly, toes, each growing up to 1.5″ long. In the spring they bloom bright yellow flowers similar to a dandelion.
