River Street Flowerland is an independent, family owned garden center located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Our staff takes pride in the quality of our products and our customer service. We grow most everything right here, so we know our stuff! We couldn’t do it without the help of our excellent seasonal staff.  If you are a creative, hardworking individual, who strives to do their best in all situations, enjoys a challenge, and isn’t afraid to get hot, cold, tired, and dirty, we want you to be part of the RSF team!

You will be performing many tasks such as planting, maintaining and moving plants, assisting customers, restocking, cashiering, retrieving carts, answering phones, cleaning, and more!  No plant knowledge is necessary—you will learn as you go. You will also be assisting with behind the scenes jobs ranging from sticking cuttings, and planting on the line, to pulling a large order for shipping. Come hang out with plants and get a workout, all while getting paid. Seasonal positions available as soon as March 2026.

• Pay rate: $16 / per hour (w/work experience)+ OVERTIME pay
• Full-time positions: Mon-Sat, hours of operation are 7:30 am-6;:30 pm
• Part-time positions: Must be available at least 24 hours per week
• Full and Part-time staff MUST be available to work every Saturday in April, May, and first two Saturdays in June
